  1. I was approached twice for the stud of my pure,....offered decent money too,but I refused,....I have a greyhound bitch here and I wouldn't consider putting him over her unless he showed me something to make me think he'd produce decent stuff,   a well know keeper of hare killers ,contacted me through a friend, offered me a fair whack of money and a pup ,after a while a traveller made a similar request, but it will never happen, the breeder requested I never give out the service so we have a gentlemans agreement,

They all different ain't they Jigsaw, but some just wired differently and some wired wrong, but hey hopefully kept them chavy boys at bay lol

Oh he kept everyone out,if you came in ,you probably wouldn't have gotten back out in one piece,he was seriously f****d up in the head though, and not from anything we did,my daughter trained him obedience to a decent standard and we tried to instill calmness in him but he would just turn into a c**t with my other dogs ,or bitches ...

    German shepherds, I'm well into.

Owned 2 since 1982-3, absolutely great dogs.

But, same as all dogs, you've got to investigate the breeding/blood lines, to make sure you're going to end up with a sound pup/youngster.

I actually visited the breeder before I bought, the sire was a retired imported Croatian police dog and the dam a Schultz hound competitor,..I had severe problems with the travelers trying to rob the dogs so thought one might be of benefit in keeping them out, which he did but he was a savage where my dogs were concerned,.killing two terriers and numerous attacks on my others ,i put a lot of work and time into him but he really was a weird c**t

i’ve had a couple like it no chance of getting a bond best thing for them

I must say I have a very strong bond with him,as do the rest of the family,it's only he has these kinks and traits that really are bewildering at times ,

He obviously isn't happy with him.

But fair play to the fella, he's stuck by him.

If it was me, I can guarantee I would've slotted the c**t within a couple of years.

He's a real family dog , everyone has invested time and adore him,and I have to say he's a real good dog in the family home,he has a lot of unpopular habits out in the field,so much so I just couldn't be bothered to be dealing with so I didn't pursue his hunting career, luckily I had other dogs to tip about with,so I wasn't stuck,...if I had been ,he most definitely would have had to vacate the premises....I will most definitely never have another pure ....or German shepherd...lol

can it go up and down the gears jig or just run them down

It goes up and down the stairs anyway....l couldn't give an accurate account on his style as I ran him very little,he bugged the fuk out of me so much I never took him far from home as the possibility of him avoiding capture in his younger years was a serious issue, but he can run for fun and he's not too shabby speed wise...for pure blood,..I couldn't honestly promote him due to not being run much.

  7. Well I've had a few ,some when young are just contrary ,but grow out of it ,this current gobshite is consistent,he's a pain in the hole his entire life ...but only outdoors,he's a great dog inside...I'm going to try run him again soon,as he's after steadying down, at 6 years old,

I've had 1 st X ,and other saluki X types and all were spot on ,obedient and game enough, but the 3 Pures Ive kept just didn't suit my lifestyle, nor land I was running

I had one I maybe she was a one off she was only 24 inch she had a lovely temperament and was as obedient as a lab I rarely used a lead with her tbf and was fine rabbiting on the lamp and I remember she would put her head on your shoulder all the way there nice dog she was.

Unfortunately I don't have any photos of her that I'm aware of as they wasn't saved to my old phone..

Pure saluki? .....I had a pure black bitch,a few years back, she was hot and cold ...on a given day ,she could scare the bejaysus out of a hare and looked relentless....then on another day she didn't seem to care ,and one day she refused to jump a stream to get to a hare, she stood there watching it run off into the horizon,....I couldn't forgive her for that one ,....

Here’s a thing in Ireland, everyone hates the travellers and their kids…..except if he can kick a goal in a county final, then they all want him.

They don’t want any of the other kids, just that one and grown men are happy to shout “Knacker” at little lads…..

The first to shout at kids because they know they can and the first to call people racist because they know they can’t……hollow men !

What made you move over here at all lol...you weren't happy with your home land ,you move here and your finding fault with the locals too,....it's hard to find a balance in this crazy world
