  11. whats simple about it ..you want to know that its 8 months 17 days 12 hours and 36 minutes for a dog to reach its full height ...FFS how long is a piece of string....smaller dogs are fully grown quicker than taller dogs ..i've seen dogs 26 TTS at 14/15 months old make 28 at 18 months old i know as i said that whippets in general have reached thier height by about 6 months so you recon some larger breeds are still growing in HEIGHT at 14/15 months of age ? .. so 8 months or so later after a whippet has reached its height some are still sprouting mmmm ... i honestly thought that by a

    what age

    i have noticed over the years that whippets reach there full height by about 6 months ..... at what age do bigger lurchers reach there full height ? .. is it about the same age or do they take longer ... not talking about filling out just thier height ?????

  17. thanks stabba its the first of this breeding for me as i have worked whippets for years along side my terriers so hopefully she will do well as i now need something a bit bigger

  19. worked whippets all my hunting days and they are hardy feckers trust me and anyone that WORKS thiers will tell you they are first class ratters mate
  20. i have always had whippets they are great but i have taken on this bull cross and just curious as its my first of this breeding and wondered if anyone has worked both and what their views were between the two for rabbits ????
  21. why dilute the whippet blood they are faster as a pure breed and exellent rabbiting dogs day or night .. the beddy in them can make them yappy if they are struggling on a rabbit
  22. i have ran whippets for a good few years now and recently got a 5/8 grey 3/8 bull bitch pup which i am running on as my main lurcher but was wondering what you guys who have had both and done rabbits with both for bush work. lamping and bolting etc thought was the better of the two for the rabbits and why ???? .. i think whippets are great and this is my first bull cross as i need something a bit bigger
