  1. Well, I have now invested in the twin tumbler after looking into all the dizzying options (thanks for the advice ) One more quick question though - does it matter if you clean brass with the spent primer still in? If you decap it before, wouldn't this cause fouling in the dies which is why we are cleaning them anyway!!! Cheers, Shaun.
  2. Hi Snap Shot. What case tumbler do you use - are there any that are particuarly good or more of a concern any to avoid? Thanks
  3. Hi all. Which is best, case tumblers with media or ultrasonic cleaning? I know it's probably quite subjective, but at the end of the day all I want are clean cases to work with. There are a ton of sites out there with different opinions and techniques, but I would really like to hear about your individual case cleaning experiences. Straight from the horses mouth, as they say. Thanks, Shauny.
  4. FUBAR, no I haven't as yet - but I will certainly have a look now it's been pointed out - thanks Shauny.
  5. Thanks guys looks good. I will read with interest what it says... Shaun.
  6. Hi. An age back I use to do pistol reloading until the ban was put in place (and of course sold all of my reloading kit - D'oh!). However, I am new to rifle reloading and as such went ahead and bought the new Speer reloading manual number 14 ahead of getting my reloading and case cleaning kit. Now this is what is bugging me. I want to reload for .303 and 8x57 Mauser whereby the manual lists (for .303) the following head weights: 123 grains 150 grains 180 grains Damn - I wanted to reload for the 174 grain. Is there any adjustment I can make based on these figures to fit the 174
