yeah youll need a bouyuncy aid and the wetsuit is always good! you might not need the helmet aslong as your confident in the boat. there the basics really if you wanted you could go down the road of a basic first aid kit and maybe a couple of flares just in case. to be honest im not too clued up on kayak fishing im more of a white water paddler but again as long as your confident in the boat and use common sense im sure you'll be fine and make sure you keep those hooks away from the tubes of your boat!! ha ha. any problems just let me know and ill see if i can help but keep us posted on

im not to sure on the anchor mate dont think it would be very practicle in a 2 man boat storage and stuff could be an issue plus your gonna need a lot of rope and chain to use an anchor on the sea and having that inside your boat can be very dangerous! do you know about any safety equipment your gonna need mate? i wanna help but dont wanna sound patronisin an tell you stuff u already know atb dan

im a kayak coach aaron so if you have any questions just give me a shout if i was you id spend a couple of days just getting used to the boat before trying to fish from it as they can be quite unstable on the sea just practice forwards and backwards paddling and also some sideways strokes think theres some technique videos on you tube. also practice capsizing your boat and getting out it can be a shock to the system and very dis-orientating being upside down under water but as long as you stay calm and practice exiting the boat you will be fine. also try and get some one to go wi

ha ha yeah a bandage the title i wrote didnt all show up i was bored and they were lying around thought id give it a go still waiting on this "sniper" tape to turn up to put some an see what its like. cheers for that saluki shaun that sounds right only thing i dont like is when you take the legs off the bit thats left on is a bit bulky an can get in the way. cheers dan

cheers mate to be honest i havnt got a clue what make it is it was just hanging up in the gun shop no box or anythin. its a bit bulky for my liking but easily removable and just leaves the qd stud behind atb dan

just a couple of my new set up. its a falcon fn12 (i think) in .177 with a 6x44 air arms scope and a parker hale silencer http://s245.photobucket.com/albums/gg66/da...nt=100_0078.jpg http://s245.photobucket.com/albums/gg66/da...nt=100_0079.jpg and this one is after ive tried adding a bit of cam its not finished yet im waiting on some matte green "sniper" tape but for a first attempt i dont think its too bad. http://s245.photobucket.com/albums/gg66/da...nt=100_0080.jpg

ive got the silencer sorted and fitted the stud and bipod so i thought its now time to get out and do a bit! i got out and spent some time zeroing it in and was very happy with the results this being my first pcp i was actually amazed with the accuracy and i have no doubt i can put pellet on pellet at 35 yards from the pod. so we got onto the fields and headed left into a little rough area were we spotted a couple of bunnies as i stlaked in they spotted me and moved off into cover so i stood still for a little while to see if they stopped and stopped they did so i brought the gun up to s

just been an bought a bi pod for my falcon but it hasnt been drilled for the stud im willing to do it myself but never done it before and just woundered if anyone has any tips for doing it? im guessing i should take the stock off to do it but anything else i should/shouldnt do? cheers dan

it might be an on going problem but a bit of cat food a blender an air rifle should provide hours of fun in my opinion atb dan

went to the gun shop today and asked about swapping my falcon slip on silencer for a screw type wich the lady behind the counter said certainly so we had a look and the only 1/2" screw on one they had was a parker hale wich ive herd good things about so i got that at a tenners difference and got home fitted it and its a considerable amount quiter but on the box it says universal fit but then has a sticker that says .22 lr so is this silencer ok on my .177 air rifle if its ment for a rimmy? cheers dan
-
fadams thats the piece ive been drilling yes and the silencer is the same as number 2. think ill hit the gun shop next week when i get paid and see if theres any screw on mods cheers fellas. only other thing is could the drilling have effected the barrel in anyway? cheers dan

hi all ive recently bought a falcon fn-19 wich doesnt have a silencer on an its rather loud!! ive bought a falcon silencer to go on it but theres a piece on the muzzle with a screw thread but the silencer is designed to go on in place of this attachment with a grub screw. the problem is that i tried to take out the grub screw but it had been rounded off i tried everything to get it off and in my frustration i even tried drilling it out but broke 3 drill bits in the process im about half way through it but not sure wether to continue drilling or to leave it. so basically im writing

push it back down to the breach coz its stuck in the muzzle?
-
just borrowed myself a cleaning kit and wundered why i couldnt put the rod in the end of the barrel on closer inspection there is a pellet lodged in the very end of the barrel! any ideas? ive thought of trying from the breech end and it looks as if i can remove the bolt its just held in with an allen bolt would i be safe to do this or could i damage the gun by taking the bolt out? cheers dan
