been into hunting, fishing, shooting all my life, my dad and big cousin got me into it from a very young age, had my first dog "jack russell terrier" at the age of 8, then got another when i was 14. i moved away from the russells and got my first lurcher when i was 16, saluki / grey x whippet / grey and another when i was 17, grey / deer x minshaw bull, great dog but sadly he started showing signs of aggression towards my dad and niece so he had to go, i parted with my saluki / grey x whippet / grey whan my son was on the way. never had any dogs for the first 5 years of his life then i got a lakeland terrier and a lakeland x patterdale, the lakie didnt make it as a worker and is now a family pet to an older couple , the lakie x patt took a dislike to sheep (despite being stock broken) so he had to go . I now have a Labroador which is coming on well. i live not far from glasgow, plenty wildlife about and loads of fishing so that keeps me happy.
