Aye mate you are all decended from the Germans.....just like the Royals so why are you getting upset about your English customs being eroded? surely you should all be wearing lederhosen and slapping each other in the face with a cod....maybe only the pure bloods should be allowed to live there :whistling:

  5. Parenthood is just to prepare you for being Grandparents lol. Socks I'm sure your kids appreciate all you done for them and it sounds like you and your Mrs have done a good job. That's all you can hope for as a parent that your kids learn and listen and go on to be good parents themselves. One of the good things about being a grandparent is that you get to hand them back at the end of the day.lol

  6. Unfortunately the GE isn't about independence it's going to be about who holds the balance of power after it's all done. Somehow Cameron and co have convinced everyone that austerity is necessary and the fault of all of us living beyond our means for to long. We've been conned into paying for a situation caused by bankers. They continue to receive their bonus's while everyone else has to bend over and take it up the arse for the good of the country. Our media constantly pumps out this shite in the tabloids and the BBC. Look at who owns the papers you read. Murdoch,Rothmere,Barclay Bro's all right wing non doms who don't pay tax here (or the bare minimum) You couldn't get a fag paper between the tories and labour policy wise. Osbourne bangs on about reducing the debt. Who do we owe this money too? f***ing bankers who put us in this position in the first place that's who. The only way politics in this country will change is by folk getting off their arses and demanding it. Check out the number of different boards these fuckers sit on and who they're connected too. They're so corrupt that they don't even try to hide it now. Cameron isn't even that bothered if he loses the election cause he knows Milliband's policy's are not far from his own. Don't get me started on UKIP who are all ex tories themselves. SNP can f**k of too. The only good thing about independence is that they'll have to find somewhere else to stick trident, hopefully it will be London. Rant over.! VIVA La Revolution!

Coincidently, it's interesting that HMRC only have a handful of people working on Tax evasion while DWP have hundred's of their staff working on Benefit fraud. Osbourne signed a deal with HSBC recently giving amnesty to staff who were involved in money laundering and tax fraud. DWP recently went through two families doors in the early hours of the morning with six cops One of the families were pensioners and the other had young kids. Their crime? co-habiting and claiming benefit as single people. Worked out around £30-£40 a week they were skimming. There's your problem right there.

I am lucky here, 20 minutes awY and I can see reds

    Are you using the d700?

Yes mate D700 with Nikon 70-200mm f/2.8 lens. Wish I was 10mins from mine. I have to travel a bit to get to them, these were taken in Oban

  8. Passing a stoat in my car that was carrying a young rabbit, I did manage two shots but they were blurred. When I fist got a camera I sat and filled 2 8gig cards of a pair of king fishers hunting minnows. They were oblivious to me and it was great to see how they would whack the minnows of a branch before swallowing them. Unfortunately all the pictures were crap. I have never gotten as close since.

You could buy a good lens or camera with that, join a Camera club you'll get all the practical advice you need from more advanced members. Best way is to get out with the camera and learn as you go. Good luck.

  10. IMO forget the 500mm......for your budget you aren't going to get anything good enough to be of use to you. The Monkeys suggestion of 300mm f4 is about the best you will find for the price range IMO.

nearly all my pics are taken with a 300mm....f2.8

I agree with JD, Nikon 300mm is brilliant lens and with a cropped sensor and/or a 1x4 teleconverter you'll get the length you need without any visible deterioration in the quality

  11. Police in full riot gear raided two homes in Croydon to catch benefit cheats. About 5-6 cops in each case with workers from the DWP arrived in the early hours of the morning to execute the warrants and look for evidence of fraud. One of the families was two pensioners and the other had two kids. Contrast this with recent disclosure of HSBC defrauding BILLIONS of £ and the reaction from Cameron and his band of crooks. Not one arrest, no doors being kicked in, no dawn raid, Cameron claims he was not aware of HSBC doing any wrong and has been found to be lying as they were told about this by HMRC TWO YEARS AGO. Oh and Cameron then made the then governor a Lord,,,,,you couldn't make it up  So what next? we've had the paedo cover up, tax fraud and expenses scandal. We're going to hell in a hand cart and the government are making you pay for the ride.

  12. "Muslims on the other hand are bringing this on themselves by their actions. I dont see anyone constantly de humanising muslims. No one has convinced me that they are the enemy. I have witnessed their actions and how they behave and come to this conclusion alone, as have many other people"

FFS! it's views like this that allow atrocities like the holocaust to happen, they're no like us blah blah f***ing blah! when you refer to muslims be honest your referring to "rag heads" "paki's" and such, I'm sure that your also aware that Muslim is not a race but a religion practiced by many different races including white. I'm sure the innocent women and children being killed on a daily basis in Iraq by drones "brought it on themselves" I despair at times...I really do.
