Wrong side of 50 - been shooting and ferreting for most of these. Used to live near Heathrow - had loads of shooting and ferreting there and out to the west as far as Reading. Down near Maidstone - far less - unless I have been lazy. Got some ferreting on CTRL (railway) embankment - bit difficult hearing the locator whilst the train is whizzing past!

Had a shotgun shooting lesson recently - cannot believe what bad habits I had got into - and why I was missing so many pigeons and rabbits!
