  3. Hello John Whilst I have nothing against the Hodgson manual (I have a copy of it) it is for all rifle calibres and also pistols. Also being Hodgson it only recommends their powders and no one elses As you have a 223 my advice is to look out for a book dedicated to your calibre such as "The Complete reloading Manual for the .223 Remington" This book comprising of approx 85 pages deals with nothing but the .223 and the various loads recommended and bullet weights including of course Hornaday. It also has the pages from the Hodgeson Manual. The book normally sells on Ebay for about £
