  1. i use a 12v 7amp/h gives about 3 1/2 to 4 hours hours constant use and also carry a spare,although obviously something bigger will give you more run time Cheers next question where`s the best /cheapest place to get one from. amazon £15 delivered got one 4 weeks ago screwfix about £16
  2. probably been shot before, seen this a few times, also found shotgun & air rifle pellets in rabbits shot with rimfire. strangest thing I ever found in a rabbit was a small piece of metal shaped like an arrow head emmbedded in flesh on back leg
  3. Hi, only been shooting 22RF for a year using a BRN0 Mod 2E for rabbits, using a cheap Chinese 3X9X50 scope, which i rarely change from X7 mag. I have been offered a S&B 6X42 Hungarian for a sensible price, in your experience / opinion would this scope be suitable.

  5. hi Quick question, I have just applied for a fac for 22 rimfire for vermin control, i have at present 2 three gun safes (police approved) I would like an idea before i get a visit from Firearms if they would be suitable 1 for rifle, 1 for bullets etc, 1 have 3 shotguns. Also I have a small safe installed in a seperate room. Just need to know if FAC needs a safe with seperate compartment built in, thanks in anticipation
  6. got 1 with wooden stock (£295), found it harder at first to hit rabbits from landrover at night put it down to lining up on v sight not been out in daylight yet, can be awkward to load with cold fingers or gloves, quite as a hushpower, range the same though seems tighter chocked, to be truthful i prefer the hushpower, but then not really put enough shots through it, 1 thing to consider there is no safety catch you have to lift the bolt handle up, hope this helps Paul Iv Got the Hushpower 410.
