thats exactly right had this problem with mine but my own stupid fault not double pushing the bolt also crap pellets imo there a good gun like said can be a wee bit heavey like said but it doesnt bother me too much i was using a gun power stealth nice gun imo altho a little noisey this is a bit quieter

what i did in betwwen going out shooting is i set up targets down the bottom of my garden (its a good size) and shot just to keep on with it and to get used to the gun as id just bought it or you could join a field target club for the same till you aquire some permision all the best lee

i had this problem with my s16 i put it down to two things 1 shite quality pellets 2 wasnt pushing the lever far enough forward had to push it down then give it a second push since then touch wood its been sound i now use logan penatrators with a bit of lube and its been bang on hope this helps lee

if you get stuck then try novaload this was a great site for nova's very popular and a good bunch of lads also try pistonheads i shifted my golf gti on there another nova site dont know if its still on the go was roybacer and the other vauxhall site is migweb all the best lee
