  3. :hmm: Barely has half an inch to go back/ But I really need it as far back, towards my face, as it'll go. Simple enough. It's mounted on a sliding rail and loosening the two big screws will allow it to slip back that bit .....

But will it loose it's zero if I do that?

    Cheers.

Hi ya mate yeah you will have to re zero! it will throw it out! probably not by much but most certainly will!

  4. Who said any thing about going out shooting them at night?? i have never shot a fox to be honest im not sure if i would want to! however a farmer has asked me to lower the numbers around his farm due to his sheep!! i own a 243 which i would have thought would be more appropriate! i was just wondering on cartridges for when im out with my shotgun!

  5. Hi there all never shot a fox with a shotgun was wondering what you would advise to use?? ive heard that sng for open choked guns but what for guns that are choked?? i would imagine maybe 1's or 2's????
any heavy load 1 or 2 will do .if your gun is 3inch chambered all the better.steel shot is mostly not recomended with chokrs but any good gun shop will keep you right :gunsmilie::gunsmilie:

Yeah its 3 inch!! yeah think i'll get some 1's

  11. Hello :bye: me and a mate are thinking :hmm: about getting ferrets and are wondering what these mammals are like.

    We would like to know:

-What do you feed them/how much?

-How much attension do they need?

    -Good methods of training them?

-How often they need to be cleaned?

    -Do they need vaccinations?

And any other useful information would be greatly appreciated

    Thank you

    Tom and Jonny

Hi there mate hows it going?? would highly reccomend getting them from when they are kits (babys) they get used to you and the more you handle them the better they are to handle!! in regards to training i tend to use a small earth that i know only had 4 or 5 holes and know where all the exits are! however it is in a ferrets insticts to hunt anyways! ive never vaccinated any of my ferrets and they have all been fine!! you can feed them a varied diet really! i tend to give them day old chicks, dry mix, rabbit, doves, pigeons etc do you know what type your looking for??

  12. Recently been told about the 'one shot' zero, is this a good idea for sighting in a new rifle?

Or does it need a bit more effort than that?

The only thing i can think of that that person may have meant is that you get a more accurate shot when your barrel is cold(provided you obviously have it zero'd! so if you were to zero your rifle the best you can and then let the rifle's barrel cool down and the re zero more accuratly??

  13.
