  1. whats right with it.. not hard to shoot somthing that is sleeping in a tree is it.. or having just fed is roosting unable to fly cos its digesting its food.. not sporting and a VERY LAZY WAY TO HUNT!!! but! less Sky pests the better..
  2. Well looks liek alot of you wanna get some pigeons with air rifles ( i dont like the idea my self ) i like to take em out the air with shotgun but thats just me.. Out TIP TIME " works 100% " cost around £3 - £4 get a decoy any cheap one will do then get one of the Ultra Violate marker pens like the ( ones u see under black light ) for marking stuff if it gets stolen you knwo the ones.. ok now take you decoy and take your marker and mark 3 x 1/2 inch lines from one side to the other, one around the base of the neck and 2 on the back, place the decoy in a tree or on the ground (
  3. Yeh it didnt even really flap the wings really, like you said took the spine out and the full impact would ahve just put it out cold. Im crawlig up the walls to get back in that hedge but need to get someone to drive me to pick up my car hehe!! Jack srry to say but shooting a pigeon when its roosting or feeding with an air rifle not really very fair is it lol taking them out the air with a shotgun is abit better as they have a chance to get away.. take a look at the TIP i posted just now.. on how to get them woodies where u want em for only £3
  4. The reason you think your gettin rid of all the rabbits on your farms isnt because your good at what your doin, it might have somethin to do with the fact its in cheshire an its gettin hammered by lampers, guns, lurchers an ferrets constantly. All year round. Good luck anyway. . . never mentioned that i thought i was good at what i do but iv'e been doing alright the last 38yrs, and most of my permission is in cheshire alot of it is on keepered land and believe me if your on the land they know it, iv'e got plenty of permission its hard to get and even harder to keep what i meant was a

  6. i have both std and carbin .. as with all guns no matter if the make is the same each barrle will take better to some pellets than others.. i would advise testing 10 - 15 dif pellets ranging from 13.5 - 15.5 grins, I find that Jsb altho are pritty much the same as the daystate 16 grain the jsb exact are a very small amount longer in the body and are alot better in none or low winds, the new rangemaster daystate pellet sucks ass.. short and heavy, webley accupel and powa pell are also 2 very good pellets i would only use the powerpell flats for close range shots ie no more than 15 yea
  7. the only legal way to move any gun air gun/rifle fac or sub 12ftp, and any firearm on the public highways ie any public road is to have it eather! in a gun case hard/soft, with no ammo in the wepon or covered ie with a cloth and then a boot cover. if on the back seat of a car i would only ever move a wepon in a gun case. the police man was well with in his rights to stop and pull over your better partner, To many people have ago at the police for doing what they see right. as fare as he knows hes seen a driver maybe acking in a way he though to be abit dogy or seen the rifle. at that

  14. All Bottles that hold Preshire if it be gas, air , what ever all have a life span normaly 5-10 years. If stored right and not left out side. But for all u pcp gunners out there, Have u ever tryed getting Dry air from BOC. I use it for spray painting so it has to have 0% of the wet stuff, And a 45kg @ 300 Bar will cost u half the money. only reason y they put it in a drivers bottle is so u can carrie it about but divers bottles cost more as u take your BOC bottel back no worries about the life span of it.. Also i been thinking of using somthing other than dry Air in my s410,, somthin
  15. thanks for The Help peeps, from what u said and a little thinking i think ill be going for AA S410k Cal, 177 like u say flatter trajectory And higher fps, All good stuff.. If i do wanna C the diff in 22 ill fit a 22 cal barrle.. as the s410 Iner workings ie vale chambers springs and so on are all the same ill be finding out if the bolt action and the multie shot mag action is the same or not.. even tho the pellets in 177 are smaller.. If anyone dos know if anything other than a barrle change is need'ed to get from 177 - 22 cal let me know plz.. But i think i need a change from .22 after
  16. Hey guys just about to get a the new S410 for takin out some bunnys, not sure what Cal to go for .. 177 we all know 177 has a better/ flater curve and will fly faster fps than the .22 as the pellets are mostly half the weight, but then .22 has that bit more of a Wack when it hits + i have 20 tins of Acupell left :s... What u guys think.. Then if i got the .22 do u think if i wanted to try the .177 i could just get a .177 barrle pop that on and give that blast.. I dont know what to try ...............
