  1. If this dog is a stud dog like you say, I presume it's already bred several litters of pups. These are what you want to look at. If these are not making top dogs, don't use the stud, if they are, then use it. Some dogs throw good pups, some don't. If it was me, I wouldn't want to be the first one to use it. Now reply and tell me it's not a wind up!
  2. There are lots of accounts of border collie's killing foxes (Read Brian Plummer's lurcher books) If your dog is fast enough to get up to a fox and brave enough to tackle it, you could use it for breeding lurchers to hunt legal quarry. IE colliex greyhound colliexsaluki colliexwippet. Still think it's weird?
  3. Excellent professional pictures, the dogs look in perfect condition.
  4. Thanks mate. Pity you couldn't get out.
  5. Good catch, how is the dog bred? looks like 1st cross collie greyhound or 1/4 collie 3/4 greyhound
  6. What did you do last night? Apart from that! Went out lamping last night, in the rain and gales, with my mate and good dog, old dog, and pup, and two human pups. Well, what a night! There was tree branches all over the roads, and even a big tree blocking a lane. The only parking spot was right under a big tree. everyone assured me it would be alright.Translated, means alright for them, because it was my van. We set off, through longish grass, and the rabbits were flying for cover at the first flick of the lamp, (well lamped?) saw two hares, (we don't lamp hares do we?), anyway we decided to
  7. Nice one chuck! Me and my mate went out last night in the rain and gales. What a night! There was tree branches all over the roads and even a full tree blocking a lane. We walked about 12 miles around muddy fields and came back with a dozen rabbits. Eight month pup ran well, but didn't quite connect. I know it will next time. Take care and slip it on three next time. Good luck!
  8. Nice, but the Ford Ranger or Mazda version is better, better performance, turning circle etc Me and my mate test drove them all before he bought a mazda
  9. Use it for lamping? Me and my mate walked about 12 miles around muddy fields last night, over gates, through barbed wire, electric fencing, ditches and dykes in gale force winds carrying 12 rabbits and I'm over 50. Now thats lamping! Thats a real adrenalin rush.
