  3. ok thankyou, i suppose theres ways to remidy the scent if its a little week As kids we always used Borax from the chemist on fox pelts..but that was to soften them and make them pliable as well as cure them..which may defeat the object in what you are trying to achieve...ie retain some scent etc..it was'nt our aim though..fox pelts were stinking rammy..

While I would'nt call Plummer an eejit by any means..I have to
  11. Hi Mate..this will be a good year...high percentage hatch of Goshawks in Norfolk...Man U will win the premier and champions league..and us poor Mackems have barely avoided relegation and live to fight another year in the premier league...just !!! All the best mate...
  12. Spot on mate..sound advice..the most tamest of Jills prior to kits adopt a different frame of mind when a litter is born..almost semi wild and untrusting of anyone..anything..I agree mate leave well alone until things settle down and kits are out and bout..
  13. I have had hemp nets last for years..still have a few but I now use spun nylon..but re the hemp..dont leave them in the bag wet..and at the end of the season I give mine a good rinse out in clean warm water and hang them until properly dry then fold and put them away..
  14. It aint a young bird its in adult plumage..
  15. Thats my sentiments to Sue..and the kits must have died of something..I assume the Jill did'nt kill them..so something is not quite right..
