  1. Lurcher pups

      Untitled-1.jpg.4f1e1b6024f4b16d4526edb01eec47ea.jpg

The dam is the Merlin/Eve breeding she is the ? at the bottom......The sire is equally bred from a long line of working bedlington / greyhounds going back to the mid 80s.

I have decided to call coursing a day and get back fully into my first love lamping .

I chose a sire from a long line of bedlington/greyhounds with a good working history..i have seen him take rhfd , and is now in semi retirement due to the heavy life working he has had.

The  pups are bred for lamping and general mouching , i know i have ruined the coursing breeding but i am out of that game now and have to move on.

These pups are strong , brave , bold and healthy they have been fed the best , have the run of a large garden 24/7 , they run and jump and have no fear.

they are ready to go 23 june , ring for any further info.

  2. Most of you won't be aware of this unless you're deep into conspiracy theories but this month is the legal deadline for the release of all of the documentation surrounding J.F.K's assassination.

54 years after the event the remaining 3100 secret files, combined with clarification for the 30,000 partially pre-released documents are to be dumped onto the public. The plan was to release them over several months but because of 'processing delays' the new plan is to dump the entire contents into the public domain between now and October 26th which is the legal deadline. We'll finally have all the details although it'll take the internets finest detectives months if not years to assimilate the information.

There is one catch. President Donald Trump is the only man to have veto power on the release. He can shelve the whole thing and there is speculation in Washington that the powers that be want the documents re-classified for another 25 years.

The question is will we finally know the truth? Or will the worlds 'journalists' simply re-ignite speculation and half-truths over what 'really' happened by cherry-picking data to suit? :hmm:

Either way, it should be pretty interesting. Decent article on it from Politico here.

we will never know the truth ,,,,,even if they release the truth.

  3. It really doesn't add up very nicely. The level of planning that seems to have gone into this attack and the lack of obvious motive is just not typical. I'm still very suspicious that this was politically motivated.

shooter was on fourth floor , unlucky guy on 32 floor shot and guns placed in room ,.why did he take 47 guns into his hotel room ?......

anti gun lobby dream come true , now have leverage to change Americas second amendment ,,the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.

who shot j f kennedy ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,lee harvey oswald ,,,,really ,,,,,,he was also shot before he could answer questions ,

i could be a mile from the truth but dont believe all you are told.

  4. Any one got any pictures. Looking for a bit of inspiration. Got a few nice pallets put to one side and need a new hutch soon. First problem none of the lengths will be long enough so will have to join them.

Next is the weight if I want a two story job. Then there is the floors as ideally need to be smooth so might have to fork out for a bit of ply :(

Made entirely from pallets ,,two years old now still going strong,,,,ps, its a pain breaking down and removing wire nails from the pallets but its worth it.

  5. I bought a spaniel about 4 months ago for shooting she was 10 months old. She well bred on her papers and is looking promising in the field. She hasn't come in season yet I don't wanna breed off her but will in the future. Iv asked the bloke when I bought her as she been spade he said no? But I'm starting to have my doubts. Is there anyway to tell? Can you give them let to bring them in? Or have her scanned ? Also she looks like she never been in season as her fanny still small to put it blunt. Once they have there first season it's normally bigger than before.

IF she has been spayed she should have a scar about an inch and half long , usually centre of her belly and more towards the rib cage.

  6. Monday evening I had seven six week old kits all full of beans checked on them yesterday after work and six of them are where dead in the nest box leaving me with a little Jill and the mother, they had all eaten the same food (a pigeon) Iv had a couple out of one litter die before but much younger than six weeks old. I haven't done anything different from previous years. The hutch was clean and dry they where drinking water from a dish and eating well. Anybody ever experienced this before? Any ideas what could have happened so I don't have it happen again.

    Cheers Sam

when i was a young lad , i came home from school to find 7 dead ferrets and two still alive , they were all meat fed whatever i could pop off with an air rifle , it was a real mystery as to why they had suddenly all died .

A couple of weeks later my mum was complaining about the flies , near the cage and those that ventured into the house , SHE WAS GETTING TIRED OF SPRAYING INTO THE CAGE WITH FLY SPRAY.

That was my mystery solved , maybe yours could be that simple.

  7. Old wives tale the white dog lamping story. I have a bitch that is predominately white and I graft her constantly on the lamp. She does fine.

i agree , i had a fully white bitch that once caught 96 rabbits in a night lamping , im confident in saying she wouldnt have caught more if she was brindle or black.

  8. No Indian takeaways or restaurants near where i live , hundreds of pakistani food outlets working under the heading of Indian, but no real Indian restaurants .

No way am i paying someone who hates me and my culture ,, smiles to my face but dislikes me , spits in or does worse to my food , then gladly takes my money.

i wish everyone would boycot them , no matter how good a kebab looks after a few pints ,

  9. Halal slaughter should be banned , the way the animals die a slow painfull death chocking on their own blood can be horrific to see .

So they are stunned first then have their throats slit , so people have you believe , well more often its the other way around throat slit choke to death , then stunned to cover the ritual act.

This practice should be banned and the animal libbers should push the issue , unfortunately its a very big issue with muslims and our government will turn a blind eye to keep the peace.

  10. I wasnt criticizing you i was asking an honest question .

However your reply is a defence of your action of shooting a fox ,which ends with " let he who without blame cast the first stone " so are you saying you have " sinned " another ancient proverb .

your first reply " shoot them " was fine, i pressume pictures of the cubs as the vixen would appear you may even get lucky and bag their aunt .

  11. " BEST LURCHER FOR DEER "

Everyone usually has an opinion on which type of cross they feel will be best saluki/grey ,,,,bull/grey ,,,staghound ect ect , if i was after a lurcher for any chosen purpose my question will always be how did the sire and dam

perform on the chosen quarry , were they worked regularly and were they fully up to the task , i would hopefully got an honest answer ,unfortunately a lot of dogs are sold due to their owners verbal prowess rather than their dogs working ability .

If the truth was to be told and both parents whatever the breeding were doing the job , i would cross my fingers and put everything into the pup .

  12. Has anyone got a picture of hannock kubla khan ? Has I have just got a 13 month old pup who's grandfather was kubla khan

Kubla Khan thats a fancy name , do you know if the dog was any good at lamping, ferreting , maybe working along side terriers , i was just wondering what its forte was .

  13. True or not true will we ever know ?

One thing for sure it will stop a few future isis recruits from leaving our shores, knowing full well they they are to be target by our elite forces.

its a pity we know who they are but can not act till they overstep the mark , sometimes the human rights act works against law abiding innocent people.

  14.

Reddog did u get it off here if so how long have u been a member

I got my old 1st x dog off the classifieds on here a good few years ago.. has been a good dog and it paid off..the odd surplus pups bred from good stock do show up from time to time.. My Current pup was bred from a 22" working farm collie bitch put to a 28"greyhound..so am quite optimistic for the future.. was also from classifieds but not on here... Just have to keep your eyes peeled and maybe be prepared to travel a bit..

Your new pups breeding sounds the way forward regarding a collie cross greyhound ,the working collie used should benefit the cross immensely .. Hancocks dogs are bred mainly from collies which he has bred for generations ,they are not worked and spend their existence

confined to a kennel with little or no exercsice , they are bred solely for coat type and colouration as the pups of a certain style sell better.

Hancock actually sells smooth coated black and white collies marked pups for less as they are harder to sell than other colourations , he himself said this to me last time i saw him at his place.
