the other day i was out ferreting and ther was a hole my ferret wasent shure about so a gave it a wee shove and it went down and to big huge brown rats came walking out but the 12 bore took care of them http://www.thehuntinglife.com/forums/public/style_emoticons/default/gunsmilie.gif

well were going back on Sunday for some ferreting as he is getting a bit of stick of the farmer as she shoots are not even lifting of the ground and were going to fell the hoppers shot the pigeons and have a fox drive through the sprout feaild

i phoned him tonight to see if he wants/needs us down on sunday is im going to glassgow to visit familey tomorrow for the week end we usualy go down on friday and come back on sunday but if he wants me i will cime back on saterday

the guy im working for only dose it a friay saterday and sunday but we still are trying to find someone to take us on for work expeence in 4th year for the full week and that guy only dose it at week ends

well today was a day to remeber as we got 10 bunnies 7 adults 2 were ferreted to nets and the rest with shot gun then 3 5-6 week olds whe wonderd out the burrie and on ther way back donw the ferret got them and dragedd then out and the ferret bolted 2 rats which both got shot and i got more permission for ferreting and shooting the ferals arround the farm and we helpd fill up the hoppers and my shoulders are nackerd from carying the full food sacks through the wods to fill the hoppers and his sone is phoneing his mate who owns a farm to get us more permission and they invited me and my brothe

yeah i cant wait i have to be ther for 8 and its half an hour awaay so were leaving at half 7

hes takeing us lamping ferreting teaching us about respecting the land identifieing tracks and trees and his freind owns a bird hachers so i am going to help him in the rearing feailds in the summer and i know im a wee shit in school but when im out ferreting out outdoor i knuckel down and work hard im told in a wee grafter so im looking folword to it

well i am very happy that me and my brother have got a gamekeeping job with a man who iis takeing us lamping ferreting shooting and show us the ropes and i am starting on sunday

well i went out target shooting tonight and i can get pretty good grouping but i finde a hard just standing shooting i likw 1 knee on the ground 1 knee up

thanks guys my mum is takeing me to my permission tomorrow for another bit of target pratice before i go out shooting on sunday as i dont want to have a bad shot and leave a pigeon crow or rabbi wound

we normaly go through 2 tins of 500 a day whan we take my uncels dianas out

to day wee hadd them out we zerod the open sights now we can hit a bottle at about 20 yards evry time in the lid so where gonny move them to a longer distance but not t dosent shoot round corners we used about 700 pellets

we where out with them I think mine shoots round corners but my bro stoger is really good and acurit it will go straght thru a road coan on the beach

well today my uncel and mum took as to the gun shot in glassgow and we got a gun each i got a stoeger x10 air gun and my brother got the new weabley ags and my uncel sade he will pay it by card and you can give me the money when we go home so when i got home i went to give him the 160 but he wouldent take the money and he said its nice to be kind so me and my brother got a gun each for free
