yeah i know it wont all happen over night i am going to take him to puppy classes even if he dosnt retrive live to hand i still want him to retieve a full rabit to hand and not a minced rabbit

well i have got a lurcher pup as most of you know this is what i want to train my pup is it to much to ask for 1.sit 2.stay 3.heel on and off lead 4.down 5.jump 6.live stock traind 7.retreve live to hand fur and feather also would it be possible to train it to chase on command so it walks to heal of lead and chases when you tell it but would this work as when i take it ferreting and it saw a rabit and i didnt would it jast stand there till i told it too go ? all comments welcome cheers kx

yeah so today has been a desaster for my mum being in here self but if i didnt go beating the pup wouldnt of got its jabs so it was beating or no pup

Well to day i was beating.My mum was in the house with the dogs and fly the blue merl one windes up mouse all the time and attackes him and holdes on like a terrier so i think he is taking the beddy side but mouse had enouf and just attacked him ans narly ripped his throat out so fly was pup in his place and is now alot quiter then fly fell asleep at my mums feet and she herd squeeling so she went into my room and mosue has stuck hiss tung thro the bars on the ferret cage and my polcat had got hold of it he has 2 wee holes in his tung.

Well i live in a flat and have a big big rat cage thing that my 5 ferrets live in i also work them but we need to clean them out evry 2 days

Well guys after we got home i was talking to my mum about the pup thet came up to me and how nice it was ect so after a lot of perswading she let me get it aswell so we went and got it to day we met half way with the breeder witch was nice of him so this pup is off the same litter but is alot bigger than fly but acts more lice a colie and now we see fly with him together fly acts more like a terrier the way he grabbs hold of thinges and dosent let go i think thay would make good all rounders http://img571.imageshack.us/img571/7336/mouset.jpg

also is there any good insurence groups to go with for the pup and my other two dogs as we are with pet plan just now and its 92 pound a month and thats a rip off

well we tok him to the vet for his first jab tonight and she gave us a free sample of food for him so hes now eating properly as the stuff we got with him he wasnt to keen on and he got a wee pupy pack thing with iformation leaflets and 4 weeks free pet plan insurence as i was specking to the guy i got the pup of daughter last night and they said the pup was 8 weeks i thought he was 7 weeks so we got him the jab tonight and it cost us 62 pound

my team is a jackrussel and a ess to mylurcher bur hes only 7 weeks the now so still got a long time to go

yeah we play with the pup for like 20 minutes then go and play with the other dogs out and make a fuss of them but im scared in case the spaniel dosent like the pup and trys to kill him

the dogs are kinda getting round the pup now but only a wee bit when hes in out arms were not trusting them that much as we havent pup the pup on the floor till the other two dogs are in another room

thanks lads the ess is about 5 year old when he had the pup in our arms the ess couldnt keep his eyes off him and started growling

Thanks mate i think he is going to be a quick learner is is responding to his name (Fly) alredy if you say is in a soft voice and loves raccing a rabbit skin and is also retreving a ball to hand witch is very good for a pup but the only problum we have come across is my ess really hates it and keeps griling at it but my wee jack russel dosent really borther it inles it comes close to me and she starts growling at it .

thanks i think its the best 100 pound i have spent in a long time hope to have many a days happy hunting hes so good i think hes going to be fast at learning we have decided to call him fly
