My local B&Q sell aliminum poles coated in a thin plastic with a point on one end they are 12mil thick and 1.5m long and they only cost 99p each. my next job is to try and make a basket out of the same poles

for a 100 yrd long net you should set the poles about 5 yrds apart iw 20 poles per 100 yrd drop and the more you practice the quicker you will get ! thaks 4 that. have you got any tips like the best way to start seting out yeah, always practice during the day untill you get it right and its a good idea to go to yer dop the day before and clear any snags ie twigs branches ects that could tangle the net. you'll know about the wind and stuff ??? thanks. iv got the idea just practice now in the park

Just wondering how long it roughly takes to set a 100yard long net on a clear field, and what is the recommended distance between each pole? I got one today and im just trying to master how to set it, and im finding it hard. I would be grateful for help on this.

i managed to get a piece of land quite easy by phoning around a few farms in the chesire area (no rabbits though) if you have any luck let me know as im after some myself and i will do likewise cheers. how did u get there numbers.
