  1. Im not into all that, But that is a cracking looking dog you have and some brilliant picture's
  2. Arron, Bipod's for springer's do not work. It's hard to explain why they do but i shall try and explain, When you attach a bipod and sight the gun in with a bipod on, the POI is different from when you are not shooting from a bipod, This is because the gun's recoil is compressed by the bipod. It is different when you are not shooting without a bipod than say you are leaning on your knee, because your knee does not compress the recoil. so if you sighted the gun in with a bipod on, the gun would be sighted in when the recoil is compressed. if you folded the bipod up and shot
  3. You know you really want to get a Real dog so get a Lab
  4. apart from the shot at 3.48, nice shooting
  5. Nice pack you have there Gordie, I really like the one down the bottom right's marking's- look's very distinctive ,
  6. A Britanny spaniel "Point's" to game, but it can do the same job as a springer. "pointing" is very hard to teach and is very important to get a pup from the right line's so that it become's instinct and is easier to teach. They are cracking little dog's with big heart's. In the second video, if you want your dog to pin wild boar and such you can wave goodbye to your dog pointing,
  7. Cracking day you lot had by the look's of it. Nice wee dog you have there too
  8. Dont think ive put this video up here yet, So here it is. Me and my twin a year ago thinning out the crow population Yes i know the music is crap Cheer's
  9. I never said that, i said that springer's are born and bred for the use infront of a gun to hunt flush and retreive game. Yes i think Lab's are the best for wildfowling. Springer's can be just as good sometime's but if you have a small bred springer they can struggle with a mallard or something bigger in thick cover submerged in water. springer's also have a thicker coat and are not as well suited for sitting next to you for a length of time soaking wet ( the lab's coat is like an otter) so water just runs off their back's. Also i have found that lab's are fearless of the water
  10. Yep it pretty much would be. If the dog ran into flushed game and tried to course the game, on a Rough shoot this would be very dangerous and would seriously danger the dog, for example. If a spaniel went after a hare or rabbit and a shooter shot at the rabbit there is a good chance the dog could get shot. Also why do you say it shouldnt only be shooting man that own a spaniel? He is giving that impression because spaniel's are born and bred to quarter infront of a gun to flush game, and has done for hundred's of year's.
  11. How did he do that? look's a bloody soar one. Hope he get's better soon
  12. It does not matter if it's unregulated or not you will still be able to put pellet on top of pellet at 40 yard's. If i were you i would go for a s200, Great simple little gun for you to cut your teeth on I have had s410 aswell but i prefer an s200. Also a s200 is a hundred quid cheaper so you have some money to play with for a decent scope
  13. I shoot Standing when lamping If im shooting a warren i shoot off the bipod
