    im going to reply to this topic years later , he never managed to actually master picking rabbits always a long course caught 1000s of rabbits but always made hard work of it . he died a month ago at age 9 or 10 of a heart attack RIP teigh

    It was just going into the 20th day.I worded the original post wrong i had 9 eggs but 2 died before lockdown on day 18,Ive done a bit of research and it seems to be pointing that the temp was a little high. But im after learning something out of it so at least theres some benefit all the best shep

    hi its my first time hatching chicks i had 7 by day 18 5 of them hatched perfect the other 2 hatched, but they had blood on the egg after hatching and seemed to still be attached to the egg they also have little clumps of white stuff , im not sure if i should step in or let nature take its course any advice shep

    in the last few years it hasent been great but i have got the best news of my life my girl is pregnant its my first and i dont know what to expect but im loving every moment of it cant realy think of too much to say but as i said its the news of my life it has brought me back too earth with a bang and ive never been so happy in my life :)

    hes doing very well probally will turn out to be a very handy dog i have taken my time with him dont want ta rush him even doh hes three this is his first proper season he is very shy he wont come near me unless were lamping otherwise he sticks to the girlfriend but he has the makings of a very good dog, i have never tried him on fox im really being patient with him he wont chase a ball he wont even chase the drag for the greyhounds a bit too clever but is a different dog when it comes to hunting i was thinking about giving him a go on long ears might awaking his potential

    not being smart mate but where im from thats nothing im out most nights it takes him an age to catch them 1 or 2 mins at least so please hold back on the smartness every tread these days seems to have it that was for leegreen all the best shep

    he gets plenty of bunnies im lucky enough to live where theres plenty of them and im the only person lamping them he just take for ages to pick them i train greyhound hes not far of their speed but has a hell of alot of stamina ill be honest im not used to the type of lurcher that he is,but he could just get his picking up hed be a mighty dog at the moment he has to work very hard for his rabbits so is lucky to last as long as he does hes caught 300 odd rabbits this year alone just cant seem to grasp the picking aspect of it all the best shep

    hi i have a nice young dog here hes about three now the only problem i have with him is picking the rabbits hes as good as any i had to course hell drive through a ditch, fast as feck,stamina is excellent and stays tight to the bunnies just cant seem to pick them its the only down fall with him. any ideas to help him along i have him since a pup he was hard enough to get going but wouldnt chase till bout 18 months.is he just a very slow learner?? all the best shep

    No trade thats the problem wit auz. Dont really mind what part anywhere i could get a job would suit me tbh just want to get out of here for awile any recomendations not looking for much just enough ta feed meself and put a roof over my head would do finised school at 16 and worked for the last 4 years just got let go and need something to do
