    if the little rabbit is getting to his hole before the dog can catch it usually means hes moving at a faster rate than your dog. if your dogs not fast enougth theres not a lot you can do. iv had that cross and they are fast maturing and should be at its fasts, if not its best buy now. stick to ferreting or get a new dog!

    they must have took some catching them rabbits. full of mixie. you cant be much of a dog man if you have to put them in a picture id be embaressed! that dog is to heavy to catch a fit rabbit imo. the same as that lab cross by miss xxxxxxxx is this a working persons site or pet rescue ?dont get me wrong my dogs arnt the best but a least they look like a lurcher and can do a days work. but the other dogs look tidy smallerns.

    why are these terriers not imported? iv never herd an ad that read breed from french stock. wouldnt it be great to have working fox terriers back in there home land again ( imagen they were first breed hear). id love a smoth and a rougth bitch to breed from bet thered seel like hot cakes. or is it the french are a funny lot to deal with? if they are for sale any idea on the cost of buying and shipping.

    i know its worst caes cenario but check the local roads and ditches where u where running most lurchers will come back if there given the chance to where they were slipped, unless theve been taken or knocked over. i lost two dogs on seperate occasions when runnig near roads i found them on the road dead. but i was there quite quick. so check case any dogs have been taken off the roads. at leats ull know. good luck any way mate

    i think its important to rember that it costs the same money to raise a well breed pup as a street accident pup. as john davisis dog "street accident" proved you can get the odd surprise. you can buy a lot of good pups from between from between 2-500 pounds so why take a chance on the unknown? i recentlie used the brother of the taz dog bill. all the breedings there and the fella who owns him was a real gentleman to deal with. so i hope my litter gets him a good name as a stud dog.

    why travel so far to use a greyhound dog? theres no shortedge of track dogs near u i bet. they only add the speed so whats the point? the diffrence between champ and also run is split seconds. there only rabbiting dogs not derby dogs!

    i dont own any full breeds i usuallie use matchig breed dogs and the type i like get into there hares. but there are some fast salukis out there i dont think people relise how fast they can run. but they just tend to sit of a bit because there wasnt much hurry in the desert.

    i didnt say i dont like the cross. just that the two i saw on that day which where half breeds were two slow. all i said was that you couldnt give me one. i live around cambs and im mainlie a coursing man. it was ur man who started about bets and throwing insults. he said any game i would chose hares wouldnt i. and iv seen and owned well breed dogs that have pulled up on hares. im honest ,thats the end of there cousing days and gutting. but to say ur bull cross wont skid at somewhere like boston well? im afraid it would be a case of a.p.t hits the a.b.s.
