A few lads from my town went over to Holland to work at a meat factory near Arnhem , spent most weekends in Amsterdam in late 90s / early 00s , anyway  2 of them went to a small boozer for a few scoops one night , and there on the stage was a strange little 2 piece band .

when they were finished , they were converted and followed the same band all over Holland and Belgium for a few months , watching them play warm up acts at summer festivals , to tiny Little rock venues in basement bars .

whenever they returned , they were all they talked about .
When ever they mentioned them ever , we got fed up of them talking about them “ shut up man , they are f***ing shite ! What man sings Jolene? Bender “

eventually they became the biggest band in the world at one point

    we got that one wrong

The grumbleweeds were a brilliant band mate..

Too true mate. That should of been a stoppage when his legs were like jelly and was on the floor. What a bad bad looser...he shouldnt be representing Great Britain with an attitude like that. He was beaten by a cruiser weight and hes got a fat back....

Lots off here have probably gone to Rhyl to spend the weekend in a flea ridden damp infested caravan.

And about this time of night will be singing karma chameleon by culture club on the karaoke whilst intoxicated on 8 to 10 pints of mild bitter whilst sporting there brand new £12 market bought shell suits and puffing away on cheap £5 under the counter knock off fags between songs,

That's not good mate. Like i said in my previous post some of the hammer these flask took when they first came out in the 80s and lads had them down the pit and i think the only way you could have destroyed one was to run over it with a dosco or an aimco bucket.

They can't be made as good nowadays mate..mine goes from the house in a rucksack and is used in a dozer then back in the bag and home again..it does say on the bottom, made in China ffs..

  8. Well it was a brilliant flask..but now it's not holding heat at all..the outside is very warm a few mins after being filled and the coffee is lukewarm after a few hrs..I contacted Stanley and they wanted my details and pics of the flask etc.. so hopefully they will send me another 1..but its weird why it's Broke already..

    be similar won’t it

how’s she been getting to an age it  to be easier to get along with now

Don't ask the wife that mate..she's pulling her hair out half the time with her lol..she lives in the house and by feck she likes to winge lol..she's fed on supermarket meat mainly mince, wings, drumsticks, liver, heart, mackerel eggs etc..and any game we catch..

Haven't long got back in she's been marking rabbit holes..the speed of her still impresses me mind..the big dog is quick although he's slowing down slightly being 8yr old..she just breezes past him and there's more to go aswell lol..

As for recall it's sound..she's never f3cked off..

    Totally different, kingy.

You can 'work' creosote into the wood better with a brush, and are less likely to miss awkward cracks/crevices etc.

Yea fair play I agree mate..I didn't take the cracks and crevices into account..I was more thinking coverage time etc..
