    thanks for the reply albert,i always look at things as simple as possible and dont wish an argument from my earlier post,we in the fieldsports community get enough mythical stories told about us to the uneducated public about our chosen sport without helping them on.anyway enough said on the matter. i will give you a shout at shanes and youre more than welcome up the road to mourne on sunday

    its not often i get involved in this type of post but is it not gettin old this rubbish between these two fairs.both are good events in their own right and both have their own problems also.these events help hunting and the publics opinion of it ,these arguments dont.     the showing wont be held up this year mate as that is the one complaint i had looking at the day myself.this year the racing is 10.30 booking in,no exceptions for late to avoid a repeat of last year.entries are all £2.00 per class.entry to the field is £4.00 per adult and all under 16s are free

    THE LINE UP IS NEARLY COMPLETE AND WILL INCLUDE, COURSING TO START THE DAY WITH STRICT BOOKING CLOSING AT 1030 AFTER THIS THE SHOWING WILL START WITH CLASSES FOR LURCHERS,TERRIERS,STRONGDOGS,WHIPPETS AND HOUNDS,ON THE DAY THERE WILL BE A FULL FOOD VAN,TRADE STANDS VINTAGE TRACTORS AND OFFROAD 4X4 DISPLAYS WITH A FEW MORE TO CONFIRM,STRAIGHT RACING WILL BE AFTER THE SHOWING,PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL DOGS RACING MUST BE MUZZLED NO EXCEPTIONS,, EVERYONE MOST WELCOME TO A GOOD FAMILY DAY FOR A GOOD CAUSE

    have to agree and add that there are always those who are always ready to run down a show or a judge,as someone who has and does run a show i can say to those people,firstly i work my dogs,there are people who hunt more than me but i work them all the same,it takes a hell of alot to get a show running well and believe it or not the people who are after the prizes are the people who allow the show to happen in the first place as its there entries that pay the bills,a judge can only go on looks as thats what he sees in the ring and generally its the dog they personally would have at home,ive see

    just abit of an update ,there will be a charity auction in the local bar the night before the show and there is camping facilities at the showground for those who wish to stay,the land owner runs a boarding kennel at the venue and is to come back to me with a deal but any trailers with dogs can be left safely at the kennels also at no charge

    i will put up a list of classes closer to the time fella but as far as i know there are 8-9 classes for the usual hounds and there crosses also this year.. THE MOURNE BULL CROSS CHAMPIONSHIP..starts with its own individual trophy for bull greyhound dogs and bitches

    Have you got any photos of the dog: I'd like to see what its like, and was it a KC English Airedale that produced this dog? they are from a redline bred bitch.the original stuff was imported from canada to scotland i think

    thats him bolio,they werent bred by me,but i got three and two are in strabane,i seen that dog last year at tullylish,i dont know how theyll fair out but we will see,if they are game i can always go to a greyhound,nothing ventured and all that
