  1. I’ve run into the same snag, and the cap feels more like busywork than anything that keeps the place tidy. Bumping it up or scrapping it could make things smoother, a bit like how checking stats for tiktok followers shows what you actually want to engage with instead of slowing you down. A simple tweak to the limit would probably make everyone’s mornings less of a catch‑up grind.
  2. I keep my gear in sealed tubs with silica packs, and for anything really valuable like optics or my rifle, I use a Home Safe. Keeps things dry and keeps the kids out. I also clean and oil everything before it goes in, especially if it's seen rain or mud—saves a lot of hassle later. My boots go in a dry room with a bit of newspaper stuffed inside.
  3. I’ve used a 360 action camera on a few of my outings, mostly mounted on my chest or cap. It gives a full view without needing to aim it perfectly, which is handy if things kick off fast. You can scroll around the footage afterwards and catch stuff you’d usually miss with a fixed lens. Not the best quality in low light, but cracking for daylight runs.
  4. I started with a small Chinese Elm from indoor plant delivery and it’s been great so far, came in good shape and looked healthy out of the box. I’ve kept mine near a bright window, watered it when the soil felt dry, and it’s doing alright. Not the easiest plant, but definitely rewarding if you're into this kind of slow project.
