    Cheers deker so that basicaly means the cross hairs move freely Was thinking of a new scope anyway something a bit more powerful Put simply this spring controls the crosshairs position and movement via the turrets. If the spring or housing is damaged or has "jumped" it may not be holding the crosshairs plate firmly in position resulting in the symptoms you are experiencing...but until you, or someone starts taking the scope apart you will not know for sure! It has obviously not jumped entirely as you still seem to be able to adjust it back, so it may just have lost tension. Can b

    got a 4x28 scope on my QB got a little problem with it: I get it zero'd then put it away for next days shooting only when i fire its off target, thought it may be getting knocked, so one day zero'd it then very carefuly laid it under bed over night and get it out next day, sure enough its out. im gessing the scope had a little hammer from previous owner Here's a pic Cheers paddy
