18 - 2years old watch how mature he acts and is every dog is different

great dog to have at an end of a dig just once they have the juice's for it like any other breeds there can be wankers seen a nice few that probally would be the best dogs i have seen a the end of a dig..have two wheaten hound pups my self at the moment they might seee a bt when of age

the wheaten hounds alot of hound in them not sure ow much exactually but roughly 3/4 i think mother (full hound) and father(3/8 5/8 wheaten hound) both smashing foxs day and night single handed...mother is around 29 tts father around 25 tts so im no expert...very lively pups and they be only for foxs what there bred for....
