  1. i keep going on about this but the thing is Buddy's been stolen and we all want him back so badly - he's been neutered and although he chases he doesn't seem to have a killer instinct! so - if he's been taken as a working dog maybe they'll turn him loose when they realise his limitations. he's only 18 months old and has only ever known a really loving home. it is very worrying to us to think he's now shut up in a shed all day somewhere. in desperation a reward is offered for his return so if you see him it would be worth calling....no offence intended to the working lurcher community intended
  2. the whole point of getting a highly visible permanent mark done would be to stop anyone even bothering to take her - tattoos would be useful if the dog was found but the thought of her being in the hands of those people......

  4. does anyone know much about getting a lurcher freeze-marked like they do with horses? is the skin too thin? it doesn't seem to be done so maybe it's unsuitable...

  6. hi, please could i ask for help? my friend's beloved lurcher Buddy has been stolen. it was over a week ago but as you can imagine their lives are totally on hold. please look out for him - i'll describe him as best i can - he's quite tall -27"? and gangly being only 18 months old. he's a fawn/gream brindle with a log/broken coat and a curled -to -one - side tail, feathered. he's a saluki,greyhound, deerhound cross. very friendly. he was stolen when the owner popped in for a paper- was in there under a minute but one man blocked his view while another put buddy in a silver car and drove
