  1. My dog came into his own at 4 and half, his whole attitude changed (like over night) He took no prisoners after that, he was so much more tenasious from that day on. So i think its mentally maturing that is as as important as physical. Makes me chuckle when i see people getting rid of crap dogs as pups (they could be some fine dogs)
  2. Ive got a blitz and a striker and in the first week of owning them they stoped working and i had to re wire them both and cut the bloody fuze casee off, why cant they make them better?? (there not cheap after all) But still i wouldnt go back to my clue light lol
  3. I would say 4 and a half as well, good thread by the way
  4. Strongstuff for me, how he makes them so well for so cheap is beyond me.
  5. Credit to you mate, awsome dogs, ATB for the up and coming
  6. Great post, get round the market on a sunday and see what the grosier has left over then blend it to a puree and add to meat caught by your dog, chicken carcesses are free also. Make the effort, if times are hard then you could do without the vet bills after feeding it pure shite. Just an opinion lol
  7. The more people i meet, the more i love my dogs
  8. Good addatives i use are Dorwest keepers mix, dorwest easy green, Garlic and fenurgreek powder, Apple cider vinegar (unpasterised with the natural mother still in) Bone meal and bone according, A couple of eggs per week (raw)
  9. imo they dont, they get cancer and all sorts of problems from the shite, they may well look good on it and work well but IMO no where near as good as they would on a healthy Barf diet. (just because somthings good doesnt mean it cant be improved) but kibble certainly hasnt improved on the diet Mother nature intended
  10. Thanks, the dog is getting raw meat as well like..would i be better off jus feeding him raw meat??? Hiya mate, me personaly would only feed raw meat, some like to have the best of both worlds and feed both. Im very confident in my dogs diet that i wouldnt insult myself by feeding my dogs kibble lol, but if i had to feed both then they would get raw for morning and kibble evening, just dont mix it in the same bowl. RAW FOOD RULES
  11. Have to agree, dogs are carnivores and should be feed raw meat, i do add a lot of nutrients to my meat and veg (but the veg must be blended because they can not digest it otherwise) Theres a book by Dr billinghurst (i think called @RAW MEATY BONE@) a PUP AT 7 MONTHS WONT NEED MORE THAN 18% PROTEIN AND THATS A LOT tbh

  13. I must get some more road working in with mine, its all on grass at the moment. I like swimming if they have an injury, got a mate with hydro therapy pool, really good. What benefits do you see from the road walk mate, tougher pads etc? someone said it gets them up on there toes but i couldnt see that happening myself as IMO weak pasterns will always be that way as its hereditary
  14. Cracking dogs, just love the top one (stunning) Youve put some work into them (credit to ya)
  15. Well it was refreshing clicking onto this thread tonight, as last night i was a bit gutted at the responces i had recieved TBH. kinda uppsetting when you see pricks representing somthing so special. Ive enjoyed the posts, thanks for your time. I agree all dogs are different and to be honest i had only ever owned staffs and pitts before getting hold of my pup bull/grey (wished ide have had one years ago) hes a great dog, very racy for a 5/8 3/8 which im glad of really, in reality a 3/4 1/4 would have sufficed, so it turned out really well. Ive always kept my dogs as athletes so its
  16. Thanks for the positive comments guys, my dog walks an 18 hole golf course every morning and every night and is on the finest diet known to me (BARF WITH MY ADDED EXTRAS). What i meant by how hard do you run them, was meant in an athletic point of veiw. I beleive like us humans dogs need rest as much as work and although when fit i like to be out 5 nights a week some weeks, it cant be good can it??? Im running my boy hard on the lure at the moment to get him in the best shape possable for the up and coming season (his first real season) and was wondering how often you guys run you
  17. Okey dokey, i'll stick to what i do ta, thanks for all the input. Great forum
  18. With the up and coming season almost upon us, ive been traing my Bull/grey harder on the lure machine. This got me thinking, how often and how hard do you guys run your dogs during season and how much rest are you giving them. Yours in sport Doug
  19. Nice little bitch, should be able to put the bends in nicely, bet shes a pocket rocket eh? ATB
