Why not keep them fit running daytime?

To my mind , I'd imagine not always possible.  For various reasons.  And I'd think keeps a dog sharp . Back in the day football training was all about distance runs . Then the European clubs showed us the short sprints we're also needed . Jmo

Is missile owned by sm . If so . The lineage traces back to the old dogs from castlemilk.  Lurche x lurcher then s bit of coursing blood entered along the way

Warning, if you have a few rabbits, best get into em because once RHD arrives it will blow an awful lot down, up to over 90%. This is why I've read many comments on about "oh there were a few rabbits on my permission, but now they have just disappeared"I know what that relates to. These comments appear to relate to areas from one end of the country, to the other, sadly nature will have to run its course, hopefully the numbers will build back up with the passing of some years. The sport of catching rabbits is under pressure from so many quarters in your country and worldwide, as mentioned the lack of rabbits, the public outlook on chasing & catching rabbits, using dogs, the removing of cover & building over of ground that was once held rabbits. In my country, we are certainly behind but given time we will find ourselves in the same place because  hunting worldwide is under threat, it's not viewed as a favourable pastime, so I think our generation has seen the best of it. Back in the day, it was the way people fed themselves, once we moved away from that, it then became a hobby/sport, supported only by those that engaged in this sport.OMG how far we have slipped, I wonder what grandad would say ?my bet is he would not be able to understand & he certainly not would view it all as anything ... good...

Great Post.  Imo the rabbit man should try and help out mid winter . Catch 6 rabbits let a few go where they have disappeared or are struggling.  And fingers xd an immunity will eventually build up over the years . Unfortunately they are looking into a 3rd strain . Always release near grazing pastures etc . They get picked off in the arable during summer months

I just got this on Kindle, and as it's aimed at very young children it does the job admirably. We could do with some more books of this type, though I can hardly see teachers approving it in schools, nor the gen z vegan mummies. Still, it's worth promoting as much as we can. Without balance the world is just a Disneyesque playground.

I do a lot of work for education.  Being a pest controller I enjoy engaging in debate/ conversations with staff . The people who are teaching our young ones talk of the badger playing with the rabbit etc . I ofter ask if they should portray such untruths . They are horrified in the main , of the thought of teaching facts . On one occasion a primary school teacher called me effin scum for carrying out the head teachers request of culling pigeons trapped in the school over a long weekend.  Guano everywhere.  She approached me asking where the pigeons were and totally lost it in front of children.  I tried to explain the health implications to the children and herself.  Her words " I don't effin care , your nothing but effin scum " the future is very bleak . Sad times

Well their rough shooting just went up in smoke . Field trials etc . Don't fall into the devide and conquer trap they are laying lads . Rabbit lads blaming hare lads blaming foxing lads who blamed badger diggers . They get exactly what they want then

What am I missing? I’ve read that whole thing and it clearly states certain exceptions and the main one I saw was no more than 2 dogs, it’s obviously a shower of absolute nonsense that it’s come to even that but you can still catch a rabbit with a dog.

You can flush rabbits to the gun with no more than 2 dogs
