    You should have put shoes on your son Jack when hes playing in the garden,he sounds like a supple young lad but use savlon instead of him licking it,as for the cat....... Haha cheers

    Hi guy's my Jack ripped his toe nail clean out today chasing a fu@@ing cat round the garden. There is nothing of the nail left just a small red hole at end of toe. It bled for a bit but nothing too much, he's licking it a bit but wound is clean. Any advice greatly welcomed, cant really handle a vets bill at the mo. Thanks very much. Tonkin

    My Whip/Collie pup is on Skinners working puppy 27% protein any body using it? changed her to it from wellbeloved's 10 days ago can see the difference already. Mt terrier is on skinners working maintanence.

    My 3/4 Whip 1/4 Collie is 7 months now and her recall and retrieve are coming on well and she is starting to use her nose well, when should i start her mooching for rabbits (daylight)? so far i've kept clear of areas I know are well populated as dont want to ruin her as she is my first running dog any advice would be much appreciated.

    giving a pup meat somtimes gose in 1 end and owt the otha coz its to ritch . was the meat cooked ? No raw hopefully she'll get it out of her system.

    Hey all, my 3/4 Whip 1/4 Coll pup is 3 months old and had the runs the other week but she got better and i thought nothing of it but she's got the shites again and shite the bed the other night. Hav'nt changed her food (James Wellbeloved's)but i did give her a tiny bit of raw minced beef the other night only a few tit bits tho not a whole meal. Ant advice guys Vets?

    Covered the crate completly and ignored all crying and she slept well. Now she's got Dioreah now so having to get up for her incase she sh1tes the bed which she's done once so far! No change in diet not sure what to do Vets? Help?

    Hi there my 3 month whippet x collie has settled in well and slept through the night since we brought her home. She would wake between 6 & 7 which was fine, but for the last week she is waking at 1.30 and going mental I let her out for a pee which she's not that bothered about and put her back in her crate she then goes crazy again. Any ideas? Never had this problem before any help would be much apprecaited.

    Got to pick a puppy soon, at what age can you tell if gonna be short or long haired or inbetween? Sire - Pure Whippet Dam - 1/2 Whippet 1/2 Collie.

    Can anyone reccomend a good book to help with owning and training my first lurcher, will be getting a 3/4 whip 1/4 collie soon. Prob get a whippet book too.

    wow no replies must of said something wrong! No one can predict the colour of lurcher pups, there will PROBABLY be brindles, but expect othe colours as well !! As far as dog or bitch, that is an entirely pesonal choice; I've owned both and have no preference, even though I have three bitches at the moment, I had a dog kenneled here during the summer.
