  1. I started up Fur and Feather in September last year and up to now its all been spending rather than making money with advertising being the biggest cost. But as an example i charge 15.00 per hour for labour. I find every job is different and took a decision not to have set prices, so to trap a squirrel in a loft can be 25.00 plus my labour that would inc the trapping, destruction and removal in the 1st 24 hour period,then its 10.00 per day plus labour for each day i have traps in the property, this price can vary depending on difficulty of the job eg access, equipment required etc. The way
  2. Well thats another mystery solved, the nest as i suspected was dead, it was a decent size and it filled 1/2 a bin bag. I removed it treated the beams gave the customer my invoice and got paid all in an hour, wish they were all that easy.
  3. Ive just had a call from a new customer asking me to clear a wasp nest from a loft tomorrow. Now i could be wrong but i thought the main time for wasp problems was between late march and november, also with the weather being as cold as its been i would have thought its far too early for wasps. I am unsure what to expect but the customer is convinced that the nest is live, have any of the pest controllers on here come across wasps nests yet. ATB

  19. Ive just fitted a DM80 mod to my 19" CZ American .17HMR what a peice of kit that is , it totally kills the crack and makes it sound like a .22 rimmie. For anyone considering buying a .17 mod it is well worth contacting Dave Mercer (DM80) for a quote first. You can contact me for his email if you need it.
  20. Just recived my copy, great service the book was sent before John cashed the cheque. This is very informative book and is ideal for the amatuer who wants to have a go at making their own traps. A very good buy.
