Do they still charge to get into Turkey can remember you used to have a £10 note to get in then last time I went sure it was £20 can remember them not accepting a £20 note off a couple for both of them years ago and them walkin down like asking people if they could change it god knows what they'd of done if didn't manage it surely they'd of had to accept the £20 note

so in recent years we try to just potter about the nicest parts of Greece last year we did a little private yacht charter thing between myself and some close friends and wives etc it took us all around different islands and just stayed until we got bored and moved on....the captain was a really interesting chap who does 3 trips per year around the world on the Salina Tanker so we've got him and his crew booked again this year,we did it for too long last year and ended up with the last few weeks listening to women moaning so will have a shorter trip this year but really looking forward to it.....a couple of little jaunts to Cyprus and Rhodes later in the year will see us right for a summer of sun and sea.
My mate has been greece last few year absolutely loves it went Rhodes sometime in early 90s when turks bombed the beach was only young but still remember it but wouldn't mind tryin few of the islands for a week here and there [BANNED TEXT] few cheap deals flying about

...theres plenty of quiet little beaches all across the island you can get away from the social media clowns,hire a car/quad and off you go,good fishing too
Yea ive pre booked a quad for 1st 3 days and a buggy for next 4 to get about got a recommendation for best restaurant in oia so managed to get booked in there with promise of best table for the sunset stayin in a place called akrotiri at the bottom end of the island ment to be quieter but with quad/ buggy get all over the island I would usually get a days fishing or diving but this is a hol for her so hopefully after she's finally got her ring she mite book me on a day of either
.to be honest my camper van money has gone on her ring wanted a camper for a few years for inbetween holidays so tucked bit away last 18months so that's on back-burner now for next couple of years. Your pic looks smart dc

Not booked anywhere yet,been a hectic year so far,will get out and about and do a few weekends in the motorhome down the Gower and west wales way, maybe drive over to spain and fish the ebro,later on this yr

.said full of people wanting pics just for instragram now. mrs has always wanted to get engaged there so made out were goin as found a cheap last min deal as im skint(not really)as ant worked since end of last October done about 4 days so far this year through choice just just spent a small fortune on a 2ct diamond engagement ring and finally goin to do it then just goin to book out a full hotel in lakes either next year or year after and have a do I wanted to get married in Thailand but she doesn't want people to have the expense to come to the wedding so said to her if we ever do end up wed my 2 conditions are it's lakes if in this country and 2nd I can wear shorts

Yeah was pretty good mate, we had a day out with some locals ended up spear fishing on a nice off shore reef, cooked what we caught on the beach, was a great day/night ended up with a big group of locals eating fish off the drum BBQ, drinking rum punch and listening to music, they were decent lads. I've got one of their numbers and he said to call him next time we were over and he takes us out on his boat offshore fishing, better than any of the hotel lined up tours that's for sure, that's not really my thing...
Sounds great that mate im same like to do my own thing that's why been loving last few years after 17years of them sort of trips wi kids we don't have to anymore thank god haha

I've been to Barbados, and St Lucia in the past, we really liked Antigua though, very chilled .. I take a rod and bag of lures and fish every morning, loads of snorkelling then maybe a rum or 2 lol
Is the snorkeling good there mate when go away like to go snorkelin or diving

Antigua is on the list we were thinking of doin a cruise so can hit a few of the places round there then the places we like can go back and have a holiday there cracking place for a business trip beats mine it's usually local on a Fri
never done Croatia but my mate absolutely loves it will definitely give it a go at some point

Anyone got any holidays planned this year? Always like to travel hear about other people's travels get few tips/places to go etc.
Just booked santorini for June
Tenerife sept(hoping mrs let's me miss that and she can just go
Then lookin at either Malaysia for 3 weeks or Mexico for 2 weeks around Xmas/new year this year as dont think we'll be able to do usual couple of month in Thailand

Went last year found it no where near as cheap as went years ago every restaurant more or less same food only time I'd ever go back is for my teeth doin not bothered if NHS or dentist over here not fix them its 200 a flight I'd just fly back prob work out cheaper still know people who love the place but ain't for me been bodrum gombet marmaris that place just up from marmaris is it ichmilar and dacha then antalaya last year after not bein over for 8 year and not for me

Defo get changed out there we just looked at few exchange places over there most were roughly the same but found 1 that was better than rest and just changed few 100 a time tend to do that where ever go always get better rate in other countries than you do here

It's absolutely shite this weather can't get forward with it lookin like today's another day not doing anything hoping drys out abit today so can get on and finish off a few jobs so can get a draw off em can't remember last time I got paid

Yes I eat them all frozen.double deckers are great in freezer. at the min the toffee poppets are the go to me and Mrs must share a Couple of bags a week

Star bar are brilliant mate if kids go anywhere and see them they always fetch me 1 home.lad brought some boost bars home other day they were size of the old miniatures now still good but I always put my chocolate in the freezer 1st now there's another debate

Koh toa in Thailand has loads of places for that did mine 1st in makadai Bay it's just outside hurgahada think it was about £300 last time I was there and enquired as my mate was thinking of goin and doin it there
