  1. What would be the dates for these English traps? Thanks for your time.
  2. The designer and manufacturer of WCS's tube trap, Robert C. Best, will no longer be wholesaling his trap to Wildlife Control Supplies. Best invented the tunnel trap in 1985; the name was later changed to "tube" once the trap became affiliated with WCS. What caused WCS and Best to cut ties is still unknown. On the other hand, will WCS continue to provide traps to the UK? Does Best have to reapply to STAO before marketing in the UK? Black is the new rust resistant color... plus, there is a new smaller version... a 'Mini' tunnel targeting rats. From what I have seen, this smaller trap h
  3. Approved in 1957, the Fuller Garden Spring Trap was engineered and built by Fuller Industries Three Trees, Loxwood Road, Bucks Green, Sussex.
  4. Is anyone familiar with the Norbury or Shelmore Grey Squirrel Traps? The Shelmore trap apparently is engineered with a trap door for dead squirrel removal... it also incorporates a gravity feeder. Nevertheless, the traps are very similar to the Kania 2000. Has anyone had experience with the Fuller Trap or Skinns Superior Trap? Or VS tube trap? All the best, Sonny
  5. To whom it may concern: The Kania 2000 is back... after a long hiatus! Production has relocated back to Canada. Best Regards, Sonny Sixkiller
  6. Nice piece of machinery... but very dusty!
  7. A North American relic... the Bigelow trap.
  8. Are these bars common in the UK? They are a curios here in North America... used in Christmas tree farms and pulp industries.
  9. Kania 2000 soon to be collector's item. Very scarce these days!
  10. Has anyone heard any chatter about the PERDIX trap? According to web page three years in the making... PX-3. Maybe a TullyTrap knock-off?
  11. Wildlife Control Supplies sells this model of KORO. There is a smaller Rodent version. The power and force of the old style and new trap are still the same; the pan is a holdover from the KORO #1 and KORO #2 sold in North America.
  12. The new KORO trap design. Described as having "Easy Set Latch". At first glance, the dog can be honed to a "hair trigger".
  13. KORO introduced a new webpage over the summer... they introduced some new traps. A new weasel trap was for sale... with a longer, stronger pan... and a nut washer as a possible mounting device? As for re-test and re-pass... have not a clue. On-the-other-hand, are the WCS tube traps the same on both sides of the pond? I was under the impression the UK version has a stronger faster kill bar.
  14. Much to my chagrin, KORO's rodent trap is being redesigned. A video, on KORO's facebook page, demonstrates the new design. A larger pan and trigger that actually stays in one place. Well, worth the time to track down. KORO TRAPS Cooks Creek, MB - looks as if they might have looked at negative feedback in this forum. Who's to say.
  15. Elgeeco's Procull humane dispatch squirrel trap...Britain's best kept secret on the war against invasive Eastern Gray Squirrel.
  16. New Zealand's Department of Conservation(DOC) 150 trap. Very powerful...extremely well built and engineered. Could not get the right mitre cut for a ramp jump rail, settled on steps.
  17. Box based on James Linari-Linholm of JLL Pest Control, Gloucestershire. Found in John Bryan's "Traps & More Trap Making" Step by Step. Fourteenarce Ltd.
  18. Any suggestions in the the design of artificial tunnels for the use of DOC traps? i.e. types of baffles... duel entrances vs. single entrance... traps bolted or not bolted on... ramps to pan plate, etc. etc. Thanks!
  19. This is OUELL RM trap. Used for muskrats...nethertheless, it has proven itself highly effective in the dispatch of grey squirrels. These photo are of the RM set with the safety on. It is shown without it's artificial cedar tunnel.
  20. Elgeeco's Procull squirrel trap. Very well designed and engineered!
  21. This trap was introduced by Jordan Budenski around 2014. Extremely powerful trap... I put rubber bumpers at the end of the channels to protect the kill bar from damaging the metal. The only down side there is not a saftey. First known as a the Rat Cracker... now called a Rodent Tank. In some circles, it is referred to as a "Hell Box".
  22. According to the Certifié Québec and Trap Certification de Piége Canada. Ouell trap's entrance is 3 1/2 inches(90mm) wide and 3 inches(77mm) high. AIHTS # QAI Ouell's web page listed the 411 trap as being 2.4 lbs... and 11in x is 6in x 5in. "Pull up lever (2 levels alternative) and hook the security bracket"= Ouell webpage. I have come to the conclusion, the second kill bar is used to pull back the striking bar. As for 2 levels of striking, that still reminds undetermined. Maybe Ouell's webpage can shed some light on this function. Yes, the Ouell trap has a convenient back door, f
