  1. I've just picked up a silver hob from Jordi today. He's an absolute belter! Clearly well reared and handled lots.... well done Jordi he's a credit to you mate!
  2. Hi mate, I don't know where abouts in the NE you are but i did a falconry course near Thirsk , N. Yorks (www.falconrycentre.co.uk) they also arranged a hunting day which went down really well. It may sound backwards, but the course made me realise that now wasn't the time for me to get my own bird. but still had a great time and learnt a lot! Good luck with the course!
  3. Hi All, Finally got round to posting - though i have been viewing for a while now. Making a start in the hunting world (at last) - life, work and family have all conspired against me so far..... But here's hoping. Bringing on a young ferret ( looking for another) and hoping to find permisson in the new year.
  4. I've just got one off our Council, £43 p.a for 30m x 10m, which seems ok to me. The best bit is - the council have cleared it with a JCB - The only down side is it's covered with broken class - so 'ive got a few weeks clearing and digging ahead. I fancy getting some hens up there - but the ferrets are staying in the garden here - too many robbing sods about and my lads would gutted if owt happended to them. Has anyone tried thier hands with Geese or Turkeys? I've heard that their more trouble than their woth - but still fancy a crack at a few.
