  5. There's a few folk who usually stick with a certain breed or type and refuse to change but I would love a lakey and I agree to see a underdog defeat the odds and give it 100% has got to be a great feelingid like another lakey to help keep them in a working home, but I have total respect for all terriers that work below as it takes guts, brains, and nose. terriers are my fav type of the dog breeds. theyre wee characters lol,Deffo real characters mate no doubt and very true any working dog should be respected and given the credit there due and a lot of old working breeds are going down the pan d

  9. I'm curious to know what people go for when having a earth work dog is there a specific type/breed ya go for as when I was young and done abit of ratting I had a jack Russell but as I've got older and decided to get into the digging side of terrier I went down the patterdale route after doing research and finding a excellent pup out of proven & quality workers
  10. tell me about it mate some hefty price tag
  11. Don't think he's got the heart to test it lol I wouldn't for a grand eathia soon rather take my patterdale anyway best £150 I ever spent
  12. Yeah mate breeders are really particular now they ain't my cup of tea and wouldn't waste my hard earned money on 1 just curious to know of any actual grafters and im deffo sticking with my patterdale totally different dog just what I wanted
  13. He's about as good as toothache mate lol but in fairness cousin brought him as a pet but always mentions what he could do in the hunting game and I'd highly doubt he's be any good
  14. Does any know of working Welsh terriers these they seem to be a hard dog to find and more show dogs my cousin spent months finding 1 & he's around same age as my patterdale and the difference is huge between them in this I mean he's dogs just a mad playful dog were as mine soon as he's lead is on he's ready to go for a good mooch no play at all from my lad he prefers hunting up I suppose the real difference is being bred from show dogs & working dogs
  15. Cheers mate always comes in handy and so far so good with him hope he can make a great dog time will tell
  16. Always carry the rope just in case lol stronger than he's original lead tho for sure and the area is old caverns no digging need can walk around in there once entered
