Coon , Groundhog , and the occasional fox , Never did the barn thing , wandered into a couple barns while hunting , once got a ground hog in a piece of machinery , in a barn , and all we had were shovels !!

i would very much like to make it out that way again , i hunted in Ohio , Indiana , and Kentucky regularly years back..lots of game in the ground .thanks for the hospitality . and yeah them chucks can squeeze in tight , dig away and back fill behind em ..smart ellusive critter , takes a good dog to bottle one up at times.

no i wouldnt , he was all i could ask for in one , ask far as the guy who burned me ..I wont say his name here , the Dog was Spot Tim Jent bred the dog he was a good friend and the man who showed me the ropes.and thats all i have to say about that , i beleive thats a quote from Forest Gump ?

I believe in my prior posts I made the points which i disagree with and believe to be mis information . Bottom line is your not going to change my mind , and i doubt i will change yours , so why beat a dead horse ? and i dont know why a fox hole or any others would be different cross the pond , i cant say from personal experience but i have heard fox are larger there (Europe) . I can say in the states , there are such great degrees of difference in climate terrain etc. that the same species can be found in many different habitats within the earth , different animals burrow throughout the cou

yeah , thanks Fellas , Gettin back into things now , found some decent folks who are feedin some of the stuff i like , most of the guys i hunted with in the past are no longer keeping dogs . so kinda starting over. No complaints though just happy to be able to have a dog or 2 and get back out.

I dont know if you read what i posted , i am in the states and have hunted terriers in 4 different states now over the past 12 years and have plans for more. I dont agree with many of your statements , and feel like your putting mis information out there ..and thats fine , being that this is a place for constructive discussion , i would agree to disagree. Good dogs , have been passed around plenty . For numerous reasons . Speaking for myself , when my personal life took an abrubt turn for the worse. I was forced to move 2500 miles and pass my dogs to folks who I belived were all good. And try to start a new with the hopes of getting some back or a pup or 2 . Well when all was said and done no dogs were to be found. My best terrier I gave to a guy , with the understanding that when i was ready he would put him over a bitch that came from a buddy of mine and was gifted to him. so when the time came , i called the guy, and he acted as if he didnt

I know of a few people over here using the Cain Corso dont know if i spelled that right ? They are scary dogs , i wont go near them . i refuse to go to one of my good friends property because he has 2 of them and they are very man aggressive . I could only imagine what they could do to a person.. I personally dont care for a maneater , ive been bit by several dogs in my time .apbt , german shepard , and terriers , they all Hurt , alot ! my terrier at home dose a good job of letting me know , if anyone is snooping around the house , and thats enough for me. This is a big country with diverse terrain & climates , this affects the differences of game in a given region , and theyre habitat , where they nest , breed etc...so with that being said ..it aint one size fits all , different strokes...what you talkin bout Willis !!!

well put , Dead Eyes , Good dogs are where ya find em. a pedigree is only as good as the dog representing it. and with bulldogs ,who knows how much of it is true. I personally know of a Fake CH. in the SDJ who quit in the 3rd and went on to produce a GR.CH. and 2 CH. Ya think the guys feeding those dogs cared about the pedigree. Remember anyone involved with true sporting bulldogs , is a criminal. the act is illegal , and for many involved thats the tip of the iceberg. if you dont think lying , cheating , and stealing arent beyond some of these individuals , then theres a nice big red b

Hello all , New here , although not new to the topic being discussed . The APBT is hardly a pure strain of dogs . Maurice Carver said you could breed pitbulls into German Shepards in 3 Generations and vise vera . While that may be a bit of a strecth there is some truth in that. Walter KOminiski used a bull terrier in his breedings , i have seen and owned apbt dogs that looked more like terriers than some of the so called patterdale dogs i see today ..adding bull blood to black dogs isnt re inventing the wheel ..its already there..its about using the right bull blood for the right reasons. th
