    So after running trail cams on some small cages with wire triggers I made and conibears , I saw a lot of smaller animals like barn rats actually gave a lot of refusals that or the where able to get though without triggering the trap alot , various reasons . Seemed for every one I caught a few more smaller ones would just walk under the triggers or the bigger ones just didn't want to push though. I'll tell you a teil camera will really show you just how little your actually doing lol. Thought I was hammering them . Nope.     They don't. Honestly anything even close to those type of traps is beyond frowned upon . Especially due to the fact we deal with a lot of non target by catch. Not everything we cat h is going to get . 22 so it's imperative that where able to release no target with as little damage to them as possible. So stuff like those and what most people think of is just not acceptable. It's actually extremely common to sand jaw faces smooth to the touch round off and sharp edges weld on extra metal stock to make the jaws wider thus displacing pressure and improving blood flow ect.     No not really , geared mainly toward the trapping aspect of things . Just about everyone here fishes and hunts though but trapping is more of a ... special thing. Rendezvous actually go waayyy back to the 1700's and before when the country was first being explored by fur trappers so it's kinda a culture all on its own. It's a big family / brotherhood.

    So funny thing, we raffle off the gun buy selling playing cards for $20 right. $20 you get half the card the other half goes in the box. So we shake it up really good then let one of the kids draw the card..... The little girl who pulled the winning card this time pulled her dad's ?

    Never they don't fight more. But they don't just sit there and fight for eight hours straight generally. Their always wild cards. Majority will calm down after a few minutes ,sleep , then fight a little more though the night some will fight like helpp some littlery just plain won't.
