    Yer I had him on tennis balls at first then the odd dead rabbit or bird and he does well retrieving them he just won't pick up a live rabbit ?

    Starting getting my pup into working but need advice on how to get him catching rabbits properly ,this is my first running dog all iv worked before has been bully types , I keep taking him out and he's catching but instead off biting hold he just pins them down till I get to him any advice on how to break this habit . Cheers all

    Hi all new to this form so thought I would just say abit about myself I never grew up hunting because both my mum and dad didn't agree with it so everything I have learnt has been from goin out with friends dogs Now I have my own place iv got three off my own dogs ,male Staffordshire bull terrier ,female old tyme bulldog , make whippet puppy witch will be my first working dog so any advise or pointers in entering him would be really helpful .
