Hello my friend has a 7 year old Springer dog "Spencer" he is looking to rehome. The dog has been a working dog most of his life but my friend doesn't have as much time for him now. He's not the easiest dog to handle and will run in however as a wildfowling dog he would be fantastic or a beating dog on a small shoot after someone has got on top of him again. He's a machine of a dog and will retrieve anything from woodcock to Canada geese. Its just his prey drive is that high he's hard work but you won't loose a bird on a marsh with him. He's been used for beating picking up and wildfowling and is one of the hardest hunting dogs I have ever seen. Unfortunately my friend has let him go a bit wild so needs a firm handler to get him back on track he's a lovely natured dog and has been kenneled all his life with other dogs. My friend won't let this dog go to anyone needs to be a good home and someone with experience of springers however he is free to a good home.
