Changes to posts on topics.

Recommended Posts

Been away for a few days and just got back so logged on to see whats been happening only to find strange things have occured. Can anyone tell me why significant changes have been made to the way we view topics?. Posts on topics are now located at the bottom of the page & you now have to open each one in order to view the contents/replies. Secondly what do you all think of this new process & is it a change for the better, personally I preferred the old way the posts were displayed as you could not help but read every post. Now I think you have the option to skip individuals posts if you choose but in doing this you may miss some important feedback or just some good crack. I am sure there are many good reasons for these changes ( in the name of progress & that ) but can someone please explain this new enigma.

Cheers

Coney.

Would you like some salt and pepper on your hat before you eat it? :tongue2:

Under "New Topic", there's a button "Options", click it and a small menu appears. Under "Display Modes" click on "Switch to: Standard"

Sorted.

Sorry for that my eldest lad has been on while I have been away and for some reason has this uncontrolable urge to press/click on every link or attatchment in sight and never disables them when he's finished. I feel like a right tw*t now for wasting peoples time thanks a lot John for keeping me right.

Many thanks

Coney.

You're no tw*t Coney mate, actually it's a very common thing to be asked on any forums that run this board (orwhatever it's called). Glad you got sorted, enjoy the reading
