Do you think its a good idea to put in an artifical light to help the hens lay?

Had my hens for about four months(they are seven months old ) now and not one egg! I know its bad weather and not enough day-light. Do you think i should put in a light in my coup or let them lay natuarally the first time?

there will day light soon i got 40 puletts 2 eggs today they are 26 weeks old just be patiance

I have 6 hens with 6 eggs every day,have a light with a timmer on, this goes on at 6am of 8am, on at 4pm of at 6.30pm,i do this from oct to the end of feb it works for me,hens need 12 hours of light a day to lay,good luck, N/S

Minted idea about the timer mate, never even thought about that. Cheers
