Good that you got your ferret back, Iv also had one make its way back home years ago and another not to long back that got out after my misses didn't shut the hutch properly after cleaning, he'd been out a good few hours by the time I got back n nowhere to be seen even tho I looked all over, then later that night while walking the dogs along a busy a road about a 10 minute walk away when at one point the dogs started acting weird then I heard a noise in the hedge so I got the torch out n couldn't believe it was our ferret just comin out the hedge you couldn't make it up n I don't often walk that part aswell or at that time and for him to come out at the part I was just passing was a proper mad coincidence mental really n how he didn't get flattened in the 10 hours he was awol il never know..
