Guest SJM
Do you mean someone setting fire to the grass just for the hell of it as opposed to a controlled burn done by farmers/keepers? Quote Link to post
highlander 0
Yeah just setting fires for the hell of it controled burning fine and needs to be done for conservation and habitat management. Quote Link to post
Guest SJM
I burnt the horses field a few years back, it can easily get away from you if you dont keep on top of it and if the wind changes direction suddenly. I was black and couldnt speak for a few days my throat was hoarse with all the smoke Setting fires just for the sake of it though, tis a dangerous pastime Quote Link to post

I think this fire with us is out now that was going since saturday still burning last night could smell the smoke when I was out last night at the foxes. Quote Link to post
alun1960 234
I am a fireman , so this grass seson pisses me off , would like to burn the little fingers myself . After a grass fire has died down , try a mouse squeaker on the fox as he looks for barbequed titbits . Quote Link to post
v-max 2
Hello yep it's too dry & has been for 10/20 day's to burn.Could it have been a walker with a fag/ciggie as that can be the start with out any thought but if not & deliberate fire starting is bad crack. Quote Link to post

T.F.Student 0
BettyHilll Borrowed a tranny van a few years back for a january jaunt...the lad thought i was joking when i said john o groats and back Thank goodness for the AA we came back down through BettyHills, remember being in awe as we approached after the deluge of conifers. As we were driving through Glen Coe a jet came over us low and the dogs tried to jump into the front ...undoubtably the most fantastic journey and most beautiful places i've visited.
