Neal 1,787 Posted May 5, 2011 Report Share Posted May 5, 2011 (edited) I did have a hen blackbird sitting on a clutch of eggs in my hedge. It was only a day or two from hatching date when my neighbour decided to be a tad over zealous with his hedge trimming. As a result the very secret nest was given a sun roof and subsequently deserted.
