you would be better off getting a 12, the 410 are ok I have got one for my son who is 8 with a short stock. it is not the price of a gun that makes it good, its the fit and the feel of a gun, one will fit and feel good and might cost 100 quid, and others might cost 1000's and you can't hit a thing.

 

I have a pair of H+H and don't take them out when other people are there because I hate all the people gaffing, the only time they come out is when i am out for a few hours after pigeon I always shoot with a Rotweill 700 L hit nearly everything and they cost a fraction of the H + H.

 

my advice would be try as many as pos and one will just feel different and that would be the one to buy, too save and buy one is better then 3.

 

never forget the gunsmith also earns a living from sales :-}
