i wonder if anyone can answer my question. last year i bought a webley stingray and bought a logun silencer to go on it. but when i put the logun silencer on it the gun was way to long. i now have a 90k with no thread on the barrel and want to put my logun silencer on it. and was thinking of having the barrel cut down and a unf thread put directly onto the barrel for the silencer so when i put the silencer on the gun it would be the same lengh barrel as before i cut it down ...but the question i want to know is have u got to keep a certain amount of spirrels in side the barrel not to lose performance when shooting ..thanks king :good:

You will be able to shorten the barrel , no problem at all, a springer actually needs very little barrel, 12 to 14 inches works, a pcp needs a lot of length to reach full power. Dont cut the barrel yourself, take it to a gunsmith, it also needs re crowning once cut and threaded.

i was thinking of doing the same thing with my cometa 5, i have been customising it for a while myself and i think i would be able to do this my self, probly using an angle grinder or a mitre saw with metal cut blade, the "recrowning" shouldnt be too hard :):good:

Put the feckin diy tools away fella,s :11: Shortening, and recrowning needs to be done in a lathe, or with the correct pilotted cutters, otherwise you will ruin the barrel. The chamfer on the bore ideally needs to be 11 degrees, and the face must be cut perfectly square to the bore, otherwise, as the pellet exits the muzzle, air is released sooner on one side, than the other, upsetting the pellets flight, in short, you wont hit a barn door with it. Take it to someone who knows what they are doing.
