pointer 543 Posted May 11, 2009 Report Share Posted May 11, 2009 (edited) in the past when i didnt have anywhere to go ratting id have been willing to travel a good distance for just a few rats.it all depends on how much ratting your doing in your area.same as any type of hunting really.put it this way if i ever get to the point where i cant go out and get a few rats locally id be willing to drive to this lads place from the north-east to catch even a dozen. i guess if you like ratting and have a dog that hasnt caught one for a month then you would have to travel.i would anyway.
