smokin 0
Just like to say thanks for the database on here and putting me in touch with a top chap (cheers Stuart) - got the loan of his vac' hob for a few days - put him in the run next to my jill after getting him last night just so they could sniff each other out - went in to put them together this morning to find hes ripped the galv fence wire through and made himself at home with her - two heads poking and yawning out of the box this morning - suffice to say looking at her job done already - first time ive seen hob /jill ferts together they were fair content and lovey-dovey this afternoon but big boy was back on the rough stuff after i put them in seperate carriers while i cleaned out at teatime - she was on for a rough ragging again after that - no blood yet though luckily!! He made mincemeat out of my galv mesh - wouldnt mind but it aint cheap - was gonna fit a wood partition just so jill could have a breather but figured he'd only break out of the outer mesh into the shed and back in her quarters - back to the drawing board for long term ferret keeping plans in there! - any suggestions for us on a low budget (ie out of work and skint with a mrs who aint reet keen on me spending any money right now on ferts!!) might try and put some pic up if ican be arrrised!! atb chris Quote Link to post
stubby 175
a location would be a good start, there may be others, like myself, who have spare mesh laying around (the stuff that cant be chewed through) may offer you it Quote Link to post
