Foxgun Tom 75 Posted May 12, 2009 Report Share Posted May 12, 2009 (edited) Gash's explanation is spot on We at Neilston and the lads at Kelvin valley are lucky that the private landowners who own the land we hold our show's on allow all working breeds to attend, To have lurchers at an agricultural show lurchermen and lurchers are still seen or portrayed by some in a negative light! its up to all of us to try and change these outdated and sometimes entrenched views. At NWDA we showed previously that we could run well orchestrated terrier shows! we then deceided to include lurchers, there was some opposistion too this but common sense prevailed its only a matter of time that lurchers will be shown at Campsie as the lads are all commited working dog enthusiasts promoting good public relations to the uninitiated!
