ellir0305 9
i was out with the shotgun today going for some pigeons (im not a great shot tbh) anyways whats the best range to puts the decoys at as ive only got half a dozen and is it worth going with the shotgun or should i wait for them to last and drop them with the air rifle? they seem really easily spooked eg. bringin the gun up to shoot and they fly out of range. any tips for hide building and such like??? got a couple today and yesterday for the ferrets and a rooks too but could do with more, also whats the best way to bring in rooks? shottyscotty 3
you decoy rooks just like pigeons but be more carfull to stay hidden and the magazines always say set the closest of your decoys 20 yards from the hide but i always just set them as close in as the birds will come. also you could call the rooks in with a primos call or a acme. they seem to work for me Quote Link to post
